I graduated in Finance and Management, and more recently I completed a degree in Italian Studies. This combination may seem unusual at first glance, but it reflects an important aspect of who I am: a person who is constantly eager to learn, to explore new fields, and to develop both analytical and humanistic skills. My academic path mirrors my curiosity and my desire to understand the world from different angles. Finance and Management gave me the structure, discipline, and strategic mindset necessary to navigate the business world, while Italian Studies opened the door to culture, language, and the fascinating world of traditions.
I have always been deeply interested in folklore, especially Polish folklore, which is part of my identity and heritage. Over time, however, I began to broaden my perspective, and my most recent thesis focused on Italian customs and traditions. This intercultural interest has taught me how societies express themselves through rituals, stories, and collective memory. At the same time, it pushed me to look for what truly inspires me. I am still in the process of discovering what my strongest passion is, and this search was one of the reasons why I decided to pursue Italian Studies as my second degree. It allowed me to approach a new culture, question my assumptions, and challenge myself intellectually.
My decision to participate in the EYE programme comes from a combination of ambition, curiosity, and a desire for concrete professional development. I have always imagined myself becoming an entrepreneur, yet I knew that turning this aspiration into reality requires more than just ideas, it requires practical experience, guidance, and exposure to real business environments. EYE seemed to me the perfect first step toward creating my own enterprise. While no specific person directly influenced me to apply, I have been inspired by stories of people who took similar opportunities abroad and came back transformed, more confident, more skilled, and more aware of what they wanted. I also felt the desire to experience a different working culture from the inside, to learn by observing and collaborating with experienced entrepreneurs in an international context.

I firmly believe that this experience can significantly contribute to both my human and professional growth. On a personal level, participating in EYE will undoubtedly push me out of my comfort zone, a place I have been challenging myself to leave more often. Living and working abroad, adapting to a new environment, and communicating in another language will all help me strengthen my resilience and develop a greater sense of independence. I expect it will also help me overcome certain fears and limitations that I still carry subconsciously, making me more confident, more assertive, and more vocal about my aspirations, needs, and ideas.
From a professional perspective, EYE will allow me to understand the daily reality of entrepreneurship from a close and practical point of view. I am excited to observe how experienced business owners make decisions, organize their work, manage challenges, and build relationships with clients and collaborators. I hope this experience will give me a clearer sense of the entrepreneurial path I want to take, as well as the skills I need to develop in order to build a sustainable and meaningful business of my own. In short, I expect EYE to be a transformative experience, one that will enrich my knowledge, expand my network, strengthen my confidence, and guide me toward the next steps of my professional journey.
