I am a graduate of master’s studies in Spanish Philology with English at the University of Łódź. I’ve always been interested in languages, communication and different cultures, and over time this became something I really want to focus on in my future, not just something I study.
My main interests are linguistics, teaching languages, digital marketing and business in general. What I find most interesting is how all these areas connect in real life, especially in international environments. I like seeing how people actually learn languages outside of textbooks and how they use them in everyday situations. I’m also interested in digital marketing because it shows how communication works in practice, how ideas are created, shared and adapted depending on the audience.
I found the EYE programme online, but what really made me apply was my Erasmus+ experience in Spain in 2023. Living there for a year was a big change for me. It was the first time I had to fully adapt to a different country and language in everyday life. At the beginning it wasn’t easy, but over time I became much more independent and confident in using a foreign language in real situations. I also met a lot of people from different countries, which made me more open and curious about other ways of living and working.
After coming back, I started thinking more seriously about an international path for my future. That experience made me realise I feel best in environments where I can use languages and meet people from different places. It also made me more curious about how professional life and working environments differ across countries.
That’s also why the EYE programme caught my attention. I would like to see how working in a company looks in practice, how people communicate, how tasks are organised and how decisions are made on a daily basis.
My first two weeks in Valencia have been intense but positive. At the beginning everything was new, so it took me a few days to adjust to the place and daily routine, but I quickly felt comfortable.
I started my cooperation with my Host.. From the beginning, everything was well organised and I felt supported, which helped me get involved more easily. I started with simple tasks and gradually understood how communication with clients and internal work look in practice. I was also positively surprised that I have the opportunity to take part in different trainings offered by Lanzadera, which is a startup hub and accelerator where different companies develop their projects and grow their businesses. It’s a very dynamic environment that brings together entrepreneurs and teams working on different ideas. These trainings give me additional learning opportunities and a better understanding of how business works. I’m really enjoying it so far and looking forward to what’s next.
