I am a Civil Engineer with a strong passion for the construction sector and the built environment as a whole. My academic background provided me with solid technical knowledge in structural design, construction management, materials, and infrastructure systems, allowing me to develop a rigorous and analytical approach to engineering problems. During my studies, I became particularly interested in how engineering decisions directly affect the quality, safety, and sustainability of our cities and infrastructure. Beyond the purely technical aspects, I am deeply motivated by the organizational, economic, and planning dimensions of construction projects. I enjoy working in multidisciplinary environments, where engineering knowledge meets project management, innovation, and real-world constraints. My main areas of interest include construction processes, site management, infrastructure development, and sustainable building practices, with a strong desire to continuously learn and improve through hands-on experience.

I decided to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program primarily out of a strong desire to gain international experience and broaden my professional and personal horizons. The opportunity to live and work abroad, particularly in Spain, represented an ideal way to step out of my comfort zone and experience a different professional culture. I was also motivated by curiosity and by the wish to better understand how entrepreneurship and engineering practices are approached in another European country. Additionally, the program appealed to me because it combines professional learning with cultural exchange, offering a unique chance to observe different business models, working methods, and decision-making processes within the construction and engineering sector. The possibility of learning directly from experienced professionals in a real working environment was a decisive factor in my choice.

I strongly believe that this experience will make a significant contribution to both my human and professional growth. From a professional perspective, working in Spain allows me to acquire new technical and organizational skills, improve my adaptability, and gain insight into international standards, regulations, and construction practices. It also helps me develop a more entrepreneurial mindset, understanding not only how projects are designed and built, but also how they are managed, financed, and communicated. On a personal level, living abroad enhances my independence, cultural awareness, and problem-solving abilities, while improving my communication skills in a multicultural context. Overall, this mobility experience represents an important step in shaping my professional identity as a civil engineer who is open-minded, flexible, and ready to operate in an international and dynamic environment.
