My name is Gabriela Biesiadecka. I studied Medical Innovation and Enterprise at University College London and later completed a Master’s in Finance and Private Equity at the London School of Economics. My background combines healthcare innovation, business, finance and investment.
I am particularly interested in medtech, digital health, AI in medicine and the commercialisation of healthcare technologies. I am passionate about solutions that can improve patient outcomes, support healthcare professionals and create real impact in healthcare systems.
My current work with Aisthesis Medical fits very well with these interests, as the company develops AI-powered clinical decision support technology. This experience allows me to learn how innovative medical technologies are developed, communicated to investors and prepared for market entry.
I decided to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs programme because I want to gain practical experience in an innovative international company. I am especially interested in learning how a medtech startup grows, raises funding, builds partnerships and prepares for commercialisation.

Aisthesis Medical is closely connected to my academic and professional interests, so this is a valuable opportunity for me to learn directly from a team working in healthcare innovation, AI and investment.
This experience will help me develop important professional skills in investor relations, business development, fundraising, market positioning and communication with different stakeholders. It will also help me understand how a healthcare technology company operates in practice, beyond theory.
On a personal level, I believe it will make me more independent, confident and adaptable. Most importantly, this experience will help me gain the practical knowledge and mindset that I need to become an entrepreneur myself one day, especially in the healthcare innovation sector.
