My name is Fedeliano Nacucchi and my background combines facilitation in NFE with a long-standing practice in visual arts. Over the years, I have worked as a painter and muralist and I started since a couple of years to write projects for international youth initiatives, particularly within the Erasmus+ framework. My core passion lies at the intersection of human expression through different types of art, nature and emotional intelligence. This led me to design SENDEMÉNDE, an APS based in Gravina in Puglia (Italy), operating as an independent creative and cultural center that uses art and territorial expeditions to raise awareness about social and environmental issues, tackling at the same time youth migration and social isolation. My work concentrates on cultural management, deep ecology, social innovation, and non-formal youth education.
My decision to participate in the EYE program stems from a desire to bridge the gap between a strong conceptual business idea and its practical, sustainable execution. Having heard enthusiastic feedback from former participants and colleagues in the European youth network, I realized EYE was the ideal platform to test my methodologies in an established international setting. I sought an experience abroad not just for personal mobility, but to connect with a host entrepreneur whose ethos aligned with mine. Transeunte and Judit, with her organization deeply rooted in community work, artistic creation and social innovation, represented the perfect match for me. Participating in EYE allows me to observe how an established cultural hub manages daily operations, engages local stakeholders, and builds financial resilience, providing real-world validation for my own enterprise.
I believe this exchange will be a transformative milestone for both my human and professional development. Professionally, working alongside Judit allows me to refine SENDEMÉNDE’s business model, structure hybrid revenue streams and gain practical insights into running cultural spaces and B2B/B2C services. Co-writing European project proposals and testing pilot workshops directly with her could enhance my managerial, networking and grant-writing competencies.
On a human level, immersing myself in a new cultural context strengthens my intercultural communication, adaptability and emotional intelligence and it builds my confidence as a social entrepreneur, transforming vision into action while establishing a lasting cross-border partnership between Italy and Spain.
