My name is Diana, I am a 23 old young woman coming from Brașov, România. I am currently attending the “Universitatea Transilvania Brașov”. Field of study: Economics and Business Administrations; Degree: Marketing. My plan for the future is to successfully complete this field of study, and with the help of my Degree to start a business of my own. I am looking forward into gaining all of the knowledge that I can get out of this exchange in order to push my carrer forward. I think this project can help everyone who is thinking about starting his carrer in any domain, because it can give you insights about the daily challenges that exist in a business. You can learn how to efficiently complete tasks, how to manage clients and everyday struggles. I decided to participate in this project because I saw it as a once in a lifetime experience that can really push you forward and maybe help you get a better idea about what it takes to be an entrepreneur.
After finishing this project I hope I will have a better image about what I need to do next in my life, regarding my carrer. I consider myself a shy but very curious and brave woman and I wanted to really push my limits by attending this project. I found out about this project from a Facebook post, and I found it exactly when I needed it the most. I accepted it right away and right now I am writing this from the exchange destination, Lithuania. Nevertheless I hope this experience will give me exactly what I need. Being here, in Lithuania, far from my comfort zone, is already teaching me lessons that nobody could. Every interaction is different, everyday is different, every task is different. I am discovering that being an entrepreneur is not just about the technical skills I study in my courses, but about the mindset.
I want to learn how to turn my shyness into a strength—a tool for careful listening and deep empathy, which are qualities I believe every successful leader should possess. By the time this exchange comes to an end, I envision myself having developed a clearer road for my professional life. I want to leave with a set of practical strategies, a stronger professional network, and the courage to take the first step toward building my own company.
This journey is more than just an academic or professional pursuit; it is a transformative chapter in my life. I am ready to embrace every opportunity to learn, to challenge my own biases, and to grow both personally and professionally. Looking back, I will surely be proud of myself for doing this.
