I am 22 years old and currently living in Romania. Although I did not have the opportunity to attend university, I have always valued self-education, personal growth, and learning through real-life experience. Since I was young, I’ve been drawn to the world of entrepreneurship, especially in areas that involve organization, mobility, and working with people.

This is why I chose to apply for the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program. I believe it offers a unique opportunity to develop my professional skills while also improving my cultural awareness and language abilities. One of my main goals is to improve my English, as it is essential for international communication and for successfully running a business.

Another key reason I was drawn to this program is the chance to discover how businesses operate in a different country and culture. In the future, I want to start my own company focused on passenger transport or logistics. I’m already very interested in logistics, route planning, customer service, and optimizing operations to deliver better services.

Cyprus is an exciting place for this learning experience. It offers the opportunity to understand how the transport sector works there, how business operations are managed on a daily basis, what kinds of business models are used, and how to meet diverse customer needs effectively. I believe it’s important to gain practical, hands-on knowledge that I can later apply to my own business plans.

Throughout this process, my family has supported and encouraged me to follow this path. They believe, just like I do, that this experience can have a significant impact on my personal and professional growth. Their encouragement helped confirm that I’m on the right track by seeking opportunities that challenge me and push me forward.

I am convinced that the EYE program will give me a strong boost, both personally and professionally. Living in a new country, working in a foreign language, and adapting to a different environment will help me become more flexible, independent, and confident. I believe that by the end of this experience, I will not only be more skilled and open-minded but also one step closer to realizing my dream of running my own business.
