I’m studying Finance and Accounting at AEH University in an English-language programme. The courses give me a solid grasp of financial analysis, accounting principles and strategic thinking, but I like to mix theory with other interests that push my perspective further. I’m especially curious about technology, trading and psychology — fields I follow closely because they intersect with finance and shape how decisions are made in markets and organisations.
I first heard about the EYE programme from my family. Their stories and encouragement made me think this was a chance not to miss: an opportunity to look inside companies, see how teams build products, and understand day-to-day decision making. I wanted a concrete experience abroad that would link what I study to real work, and EYE felt like the right way to do that.
Lately I’ve been working at an IT company as a marketing assistant. I write articles, collect market data, research competitors and help translate findings into practical actions. That role taught me how to learn fast, communicate clearly and support strategy with evidence. When my break ends and I return to Rome under the programme, I plan to prepare business plans for a few of the company’s products and explore concrete steps to bring them to new markets.
I see EYE as a place to grow both professionally and personally. Practically, it will strengthen my ability to build business cases, work across cultures and expand a network of reliable contacts. On a personal level, I expect the experience to sharpen my independence, adaptability and confidence in group settings. I’m also eager to share insights from my work and background, contributing to a real exchange of ideas. In short, I want to learn, to contribute, and to leave with skills and relationships that make the next steps of my career much clearer. I’m eager to contribute hands-on to help turn small projects into measurable results and to build long-term connections that support future growth.
