My name is Avetik Grigoryan, and I am a foreign-trained physician currently based in France. Over the years, my academic journey has taken me through the fields of medicine and neuroscience, with a special interest in early childhood development and neurodivergence. In parallel with my scientific background, I have always nurtured a strong entrepreneurial spirit, particularly in the area of education and childcare. This passion has recently evolved into a concrete project: launching Ya Ya Crèche, an innovative, neuroscience-inspired childcare network focused on personalized and evidence-based early childhood education.
My interests lie at the intersection of health, education, and entrepreneurship. I am especially passionate about creating environments where children can grow in a nurturing and stimulating setting that respects both their individuality and their cognitive development. I believe that combining medical knowledge with pedagogical innovation can lead to more effective and inclusive childcare solutions.
I discovered the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE) program while researching support mechanisms for aspiring entrepreneurs in Europe. After speaking with other participants and reading inspiring stories, I realized that this program could offer precisely the kind of practical, immersive experience I needed to bring my vision to life. The opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals in an international setting was especially appealing to me—not only to gain new skills, but also to broaden my perspective.
Participating in EYE is not only a professional step forward but also a deeply human experience. Living and working in a different country, sharing knowledge across cultures, and adapting to new working environments are essential for both personal and professional growth. This exchange will allow me to sharpen my entrepreneurial mindset, develop management skills, and understand how successful educational institutions operate from within. At the same time, I hope to contribute my own insights in child development and psychology, creating a mutually enriching collaboration with my host.
Ultimately, I believe this experience will equip me with the tools, confidence, and network I need to successfully launch Ya Ya Crèche and create a lasting impact in the field of early childhood care.
