Hello, the EYE!
I am ANDRII OSPISHCHEV – the NE. I am interested in massage therapy for with people with disabilities (Health, beauty and social services). My idea is to develop a centre for massages with a high component of psichological therapy, a sort of chill-out where people can feel really well physically and sichilogically. It will also be open to integrate different people with different problems and skills.
I discovered about the programme at the information session organizes by my NIO, which aroused great interest and prompted me to participate. I have been interested in obtaining the shared experience and approaches in conducting wellness business to implement them in my MASSAGES 4EVERY1.
In my opinion the EYE will contribute to my human and professional growth, because I can obtain practical expierence in management methods and business development strategies in wellness sphere, as well as improve my business strategy, especially on marketing, and to make my company as a strong brand on the market. From the technical point of view, staying withthe HE within the EYE helps me understand another philosophy of working on massage and health care field, as well as master best massage technics from the HE. In addition, I can increase my network of clients and build build international cooperation. So, based on above – mentioned expectations, I was monitoring HE’s profiles in the IT Tool and found really professional Host – Ms Ana CARRATALA, the owner of San Rafael – Fundación Estima. Our profiles matched 100 percent, because Ms Ana also deals with people with disabilities and she was lookig for the NE who has skills, knowledge and/or experience useful on this field.
As it was planned firstly during the first month of exchange I was introduced to all the HE’s business staff members, current and future activities, and the main aspects that they follow. In addition, I visited HE’s facilities. Then Ms Ana get introduced me Physiotherapy Department, under work of which I I have been focusing during the first month. Next I will start interacting with the interns and will involve in creating a physiotherapy service relevant for the work with people with disabilities. So I will tell about this in the next story.
