My name is Alice Rossi, i hold a Bachelor’s degree in Politics: Philosophy and Economics and an MSc in Gender from the London School of Economics – completed with distinction – which have equipped me with strong analytical and organisational skills. My Bachelor’s thesis examined the international legal status of the Afghan Taliban government, while my Master’s research focused on humanitarian narratives surrounding refugee women in Italy. These experiences strengthened my data analysis abilities, attention to detail, and capacity to work with complex documentation – skills that align closely with the responsibilities of managing logistics files, guidelines, and shipping procedures.

During my undergraduate studies, I also completed coursework in Lab of Computer Skills and Data Analysis and Statistics, which provided me with a solid foundation in digital tools, data management, and the use of Excel and other software for efficient information processing. This organisational and data-driven work has strengthened my ability to design and maintain monitoring files, manage workflows, and ensure accuracy in project materials—tasks central to logistics operations.

In addition to these technical and organisational skills, my experience as a support educator in primary and middle schools and as a tutor in summer camps for children from diverse backgrounds has enhanced my adaptability, resilience, and practical problem-solving abilities . Working in dynamic settings has taught me to remain composed under pressure, collaborate effectively in multicultural environments, and respond efficiently to unexpected challenges—all essential qualities for field-based logistics work. I decided to participate in EYE since I believe it to be a great opportunity to expand my business idea in an intercultural environment and I believe it will strongly enhance both my personal and professional growth, by connecting me with people working in impactful enterprises in an extremely international environment.
