My name is Aleksandra Ryszkowska and I consider myself a very dedicated, ambitious, and hard-working person. I started working when I was only 16 years old, which taught me responsibility, independence, and the importance of persistence from a very young age. Since then, I have constantly developed both professionally and personally, always trying to gain new experiences and improve my skills. Working while studying also helped me become well-organized and able to adapt quickly to new environments and challenges.

I graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. My academic background allowed me to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and discipline. During my studies, I learned how to work under pressure, manage multiple responsibilities, and cooperate effectively with different groups of people. Although biotechnology is a scientific field, I realized that my interests and ambitions go far beyond one specific area, and I became open to exploring many professional opportunities.

Over the years, I have worked in many different positions and industries. I gained experience as a waitress, barista, shop assistant, customer service representative for Facebook, e-commerce specialist, and manager. Each of these jobs taught me something valuable and helped me grow as a person. Working in customer service improved my communication and interpersonal skills, while managerial and e-commerce positions helped me understand business operations, organization, and teamwork. Even though these jobs were very different from one another, I never had difficulties adapting to new tasks or finding my place in a new environment. I enjoy learning and I always try to approach every challenge with a positive attitude and determination.

I am a very goal-oriented person and I constantly try to push myself beyond my comfort zone. I believe that personal growth comes from taking risks, learning new things, and staying open to opportunities. One of my greatest passions is surfing and water sports. Spending time in the ocean gives me energy, motivation, and balance in life. Recently, I also started running regularly, and one of my personal goals for this year is to complete a marathon. Through sports, I learned discipline, patience, and consistency, which I also apply to my professional life.

I decided to participate in this Erasmus program because traveling around Europe as a young adult opened my mind and gave me a broader perspective on life and career development. Meeting people from different cultures showed me how important adaptability, creativity, and continuous self-development are in today’s rapidly changing world. I believe that independence and the ability to constantly learn new skills are essential for success in modern society.

My long-term dream is to create my own company connected with my biggest passions: traveling and surfing. I would like to build a business that combines tourism, sports, and unique experiences for people who share similar interests and lifestyles. I strongly believe that this Erasmus program can help me better understand how modern companies operate, how they use innovative solutions, and how they respond to current market demands. I hope that participating in the program will allow me to gain practical knowledge about establishing and managing a business, building strong relationships with clients, promoting services effectively, and understanding customer expectations in the tourism and sports industry.

Furthermore, I believe this experience will help me improve my communication skills, broaden my international network, and gain confidence in working in multicultural environments. I am highly motivated to learn from experienced professionals and use this opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. I am convinced that the Erasmus program will be an important step toward achieving my future goals and turning my passion into a successful and meaningful career.
