My name is Aleksandra, and I am a young entrepreneur from Poland. I hold a degree in Italian Philology, but my true passion lies in design and art. I am a self-taught graphic designer and visual artist — everything I know about my craft comes from years of online courses, creative exploration, and hands-on experience during internships. I’m an open-minded, curious, and highly creative person who thrives on discovering new cultures, ideas, and ways of expression.

From a young age, I’ve been fascinated by travel and everything that feels different — languages, art, traditions, and the energy of new places have always inspired me deeply. I have lived abroad several times, and each of those experiences made me feel more fulfilled and connected to the world.

At the moment, I run a small one-person design business, working mainly in a B2B model, and I also teach the basics of design at a university in Kraków. My dream is to one day open my own creative studio — a space full of inspiration, collaboration, and artistic growth, where truly good design can be born.

Why I joined the EYE Programme

I found out about the EYE programme quite by accident — through a friend who immediately thought it would be perfect for me, knowing my adventurous and travel-loving spirit. Years ago, I took part in the Erasmus+ exchange, which turned out to be one of the best decisions of my life. So when I discovered EYE, I knew right away that this was something I wanted to experience.

I also felt that I needed a change in my professional environment. For some time, I had the sense that I was stuck — too long in the same place, repeating the same routines. I wanted a new beginning, a chance to rediscover my creativity and courage to take on new challenges.

Expected outcomes

Through the EYE programe, I hope to meet inspiring people who can motivate me to grow both personally and professionally. My destination, Gran Canaria, is an amazing place — full of digital nomads and creative energy — and I can’t wait to draw inspiration from the local culture and nature.

My work as a designer is a constant dialogue between past and future, between cultures and artistic languages. Experiencing a new environment and learning how the design market works abroad will help me expand my horizons and better understand how to create a fully remote, international creative studio.

Most importantly, I don’t want to keep this experience to myself. I hope to share the knowledge and inspiration I gain with others — my students, clients, and fellow creatives. It’s incredible to take part in an international exchange once again, this time not as a student, but as an adult professional who continues to seek growth, new perspectives, and creative freedom.
