I graduated in July with a degree in business administration, specifically in international business and financial markets, from the University of Bergamo. I’m passionate about environmental sustainability, so I searched for a startup that was passionate about this topic. I decided to participate in the Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs program, influenced by a friend who had a great experience.
I find this program allows you to understand how a startup works and gives you the tools to understand how to replicate the model in the future. I believe it’s a powerful way to enrich your knowledge.

I firmly believe this experience will help me grow tremendously, and in fact, I feel it’s already helping me mature significantly from a strictly professional standpoint. It’s the first time I’ve had the concrete opportunity to work within a structured office for an extended period of time, learning to manage deadlines, workflows, and relationships. Furthermore, it represents my first real professional challenge within an international context where I have to communicate and operate daily in a language other than my native tongue. This allows me to significantly improve my language skills and acquire advanced technical business terminology. Additionally, the topics I cover at work are concepts I wasn’t familiar with, and now I’m slowly becoming more and more familiar with this information, which I find useful and interesting.
Living in a country with a culture so different from my own will help me grow significantly, because living and working abroad constantly presents me with new and stimulating challenges, forcing me to step out of my comfort zone every day. Learning to integrate, engage with others, and live in a country with a culture so different from my own is teaching me the value of adaptability, open-mindedness, and resilience.
