Boubou Diakite, 29, from Paris, France, holds a certification in football performance video analysis (obtained in May 2024). Having gained experience with the professional Ligue 1 club Angers SCO, the Malian Football Federation, and various football academies—particularly in Mali—I am, above all, passionate about football and the many professions surrounding the sport.
I decided to participate in the EYE program because it offers me the opportunity to train abroad and gain solid experience working alongside a qualified, certified professional.
I was also convinced by the program because I received a recommendation from an acquaintance who had the privilege of participating in the EYE program in Switzerland. This greatly reassured me regarding the program’s reliability and high standards. Furthermore, learning a language other than my native French offers an opportunity to expand my knowledge and familiarize myself with Dutch.

Thanks to the EYE program, I have gained solid skills that now enable me to:
* Master the FGA (Field Global Analysis) player evaluation framework and apply it to live profiling projects
* Produce structured scouting and analysis reports that meet commercial client standards
* Understand how an analytics product is positioned, priced, and sold to clubs and agents
* Build a client prospecting process and independently manage a small pipeline of potential clients
* Develop the financial acumen required for a solo consultancy practice: pricing, invoicing, and basic cash flow management
* Expand my professional network within the Dutch, French, and West African football markets.
My first few weeks on site. The priority was to understand how ESN operates from end to end: the FGA system, the player profiling workflow, and the business logic behind how analytics products are packaged for clients. I really liked the idea of not just being a passive observer; contributing to various ongoing projects from the very first week quickly gave me a sense of responsibility regarding the demands of the job.
