In the middle of April I have started my internship in the urban planning studio XLM Territoris. This studio has several projects in Catalonia and is composed by the two CEO Mónica and Laia, as well as Miriam and Teo, associated architects, and Laura, a scholar on practice.

Since the very first day Mónica has helped me to find my place on the studio, to understand how the team works, what is the studio organization and which projects they are carrying out. XLM’s work is focused exactly in what I have studied during my career and the work environment is truly exciting.
The studio is settled in co-working area where other architecture studios developed their work as well. From the first moment I have started to work in one of the planning projects and in just two weeks I have learned a lot about using ArcGis and what maps are needed for a plan.
In the pic you can see the co-working area, located in Gracia, one of the most beautiful districts of Barcelona. In fact, in the first week, after working in an important delivery, we have gone to a square close to the studio and have celebrated our hard work during the week and my own arrival.
